If you have just began to snowboard on the slopes, there is a good chance that you are eager to learn all the snowboarding tricks to improve your snowboarding experience. Learning the basic skills aren’t too difficult, and once you have mastered them, you’ll be ready to see whether you have the skills to take on the different snowboarding tricks that can enhance your snowboarding experience.
If you’ve been on the slopes for a good length of time, you will probably encounter what’s known as the Fakie. It’s a relatively simple move, but is deceptive in its simplicity. You can use the Fakie to make other snowboarding tricks a lot harder. This trick is accomplished by switching the foot you have in front of the board to allow your body to swing around effortlessly.
Another snowboarding trick is the Ollie, which is, for all intents and purposes, a jump. You will first need to build up your speed, and crouch down once you reach the peak of a hill, a ramp, or an outcrop. Transfer your weight to the bottom end of the board and immediately lift the foot in front. As you soar, straighten your legs, and bend them only once you land to ensure a more stable descent.
Another trick known as the Nollie is quite like the Ollie, except that you shift your weight to the front of the board instead. As you build up speed, continue on uphill and immediately crouch low, bringing your body forward. It may seem for a minute like you might fall, but lift your rear foot quickly, and raise your snowboard using your front foot. With your body dead center, make your descent with bent knees in a stable position.
A compilation of the best snowboard tricks ever. Enjoy! Song: Christian Emcee, What? by E-Roc
